An Employee deemed totally disabled is entitled to a weekly benefit of 60% of their pre-injury wage. If this total disability is found to be permanent an injured worker would be eligible for a weekly benefit of 66.67% of their pre-injury wage.
The Massachusetts Workers Compensation Statute also gives an injured employee the right to receive medical treatment from a doctor of their choosing.

An Employee may be eligible to receive vocational retraining if the injured worker is at an end medical result and has restrictions preventing them from returning to their prior work.
Employees have the right to reimbursed for expenses relating to their medical treatment, such as out of pocket expenses, mileage, parking and prescription expenses.
If a third party is found to be responsible for the injuries sustained at work an Employee may be able to recover for pain and suffering as a result of that third party's negligence.
